The ‘Good Work’ of Planned Parenthood

The ‘Good Work’ of Planned Parenthood

Fresh off professing
his faith at the National Prayer Breakfast, Barack Obama is taking a stand for
the “good work” Planned Parenthood does.  Despite undercover exposés
of Planned Parenthood workers supporting everything from prostitution to
underage sex trafficking, the President of the United States believes the clinic
on the corner deserves American taxpayer support.

Much to Obama’s dismay,
the US House of Representatives recently voted to “completely de-fund Planned
,” which receives about 1/3 of its $1
dollar annual budget from
government grants.

With the money of hard-working Americans, including
those morally opposed to abortion, at 820 locations across America Planned
Parenthood pays the salaries of clinic workers who are so committed to providing
confidential health
that they’re willing to overlook pimps exploiting underage
in the sex trade.  Then, if a pubescent girl should happen to
conceive, Planned Parenthood is also willing to maintain secrecy and, if need
be, administer an abortion on a 13 year-old child.

In fairness, the “Good Workers” at Planned
, ever concerned for the well being of all their clientele, do
speak on behalf of teenage sex workers by cautioning undercover pimps that to
avoid infection after an abortion,
little girls should spend time healing before returning to work.

Apparently Republicans with a conscience felt it was time to stop acting
irresponsibly and discontinue being a party, through
, to an organization unconcerned about illegal sex trafficking,
statutory rape, prostitution, and abortion.  Barack Obama

“Pro-life politicians have often gone after the abortion
provider, while pro-choice politicians like President Obama have rushed to [the]
defense” of an organization that claims to keep children safe despite failing to
report tragic incidents like the rape of an 11-year-old

In a recent NBC12 interview, committed
Christian/Planned Parenthood supporter Barack Obama was asked whether the most
recent video by the conservative activist group LiveAction,
exposing a “clinical supervisor” counseling a pimp on how to provide
reproductive health services to 7th graders, “warranted a review of
Planned Parenthood’s funding?”

In the interview, when confronted with the
damning evidence against Planned Parenthood, the President deflected the impact
of the video sting.  In an effort to “move the country forward,” an “unyielding” Obama,
America’s most ardent abortion advocate, defended the organization by saying “I
think sometimes these issues get manufactured.”

Is Barack Obama willing
to risk children’s lives based on what he “thinks?”  Doesn’t “sometimes” mean
only sometimes accusations are manufactured?  What about the times they
are not?

During the interview, master of redirection, Barack skillfully
turned the focus to what he considers the real threat to America:  the
blogosphere.  Obama’s
to “allegedly damning
videotape proof of a Planned Parenthood supervisor vowing to cover up a crime
was: “They get a lot of attention in the blogosphere.”

Is the threat of
the malicious blogosphere that vital a concern?  Because evidently, children
infected with STDs, being sold into sex slavery, being raped and impregnated and
put under the knife in an abortion mill is not that big of a deal to Barack.

Focused like a laser and determined to not get “distracted with these
issues” Barack Obama is encouraging America to concentrate on more pressing
topics like saving jobs, including those of Planned Parenthood workers who may,
on occasion, employ a rogue worker who offers helpful advice to sex

Obama’s defense of Planned Parenthood reveals a mindset that
the President of the United States believes the organization should continue to
be funded even though, on more than one occasion, clinicians have been caught
doing the “good
” of assisting pimps in the exploitation of underage girls.

De-fund the predators of Planned Parenthood

De-fund the predators of Planned Parenthood

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 11, 2011 09:46 AM

Republicans have had the opportunity to de-fund Planned Parenthood many times over the years and failed. Do they have the will and the courage to pay more than lip service now? In the wake of the Philadelphia Horror and related “women’s health” butcher cases, the momentum to strip the abortion industry racket of taxpayer funding is stronger than ever. Over the past several years, some brave undercover journalists at Live Action Films — long chronicled on this blog — have repeatedly exposed the group’s willingness to aid and abet sexual predators, skirt disclosure laws, and perpetuate a criminal enterprise at the expense of pregnant mothers and their unborn children’s health, safety, and lives.

My column today recaps the shameful history of Planned Parenthood predation — and points out that the open, systematic undermining of parental authority by the abortion radicals deserves as much scrutiny as what they do on hidden cameras.

More on PP’s sabotaging of parental rights here.

Thanks to the persistent investigative work of young pro-life journalists, Planned Parenthood’s ruthless, money-grubbing colors are on full, fresh YouTube display. But as shocking as the illicit new videos from Live Action Films are, the routine, parental authority-sabotaging advice the taxpayer-funded abortion racket gives teens every day deserves more front-page headline news, too.

Live Action is a California-based “new media, investigative and educational organization committed to the protection and respect of all human life” led by Internet undercover pioneer Lila Rose. The group’s latest video footage at abortion clinics in Perth Amboy, N.J., the Bronx and four cities in Virginia shows Planned Parenthood officials aiding and abetting individuals posing as criminal sex traffickers seeking abortions for underage girls.

Abortion activists first attacked the videos as “doctored,” then claimed they had already taken steps to rectify problems at the targeted clinics, then fired a worker after the tapes had been released and finally denied any systemic failures while patting Planned Parenthood on the back for ordering new re-training measures for their employees this week.

Those who dismiss the scandal as an anomaly are in denial or abjectly ignorant.

In 2007, while an undergrad at UCLA, Rose visited a local campus Planned Parenthood clinic posing as a 14-year-old minor seeking an abortion after being impregnated by a 23-year-old man. California’s mandatory reporting laws require abortion providers to report statutory rape involving girls under the age of 16. Rose secretly captured video of her visit in which the staff advised her to “figure out a birth-date that works,” to obtain the abortion and avoid getting the man in trouble with the law. Instead of vowing to do more to protect girls from predators, Planned Parenthood threatened to sue Rose to shut her up.

That same year, a teenager came forward in Ohio to blow the whistle on how a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Cincinnati had ignored her cries for help after her father — who had been molesting her for three years from the age of 13 — forced her to have an abortion. She told an abortion staffer, who was required by state law to report suspected abuse to police. But the women’s health provider so beloved by liberals on Capitol Hill did nothing.

Another Ohio teenage victim of sexual abuse filed suit against Planned Parenthood after the soccer coach who abused her at age 14 forced her to undergo an abortion. “Although she used a junior-high school I.D. and the coach, 21, paid with a credit card and driver’s license,” the Coshocton (Ohio) Tribune reported, “Planned Parenthood failed to report the abuse.”

Pro-choice radicals assert that butchers like Philadelphia Horror abortion doc Kermit Gosnell — charged along with his baby-killing death squad last month with multiple counts of murder, infanticide, conspiracy, abuse of corpse, theft and other offenses — are an exception and that young girls and women who choose Planned Parenthood are “safe.”

Tell that to the Washington, D.C., family of 13-year-old Shantese Butler, who was left permanently injured and infertile after a botched Planned Parenthood abortion. Students for Life of America reported that Shantese was left with “severe abdominal bleeding, severe vaginal injury, severe injury to the cervix, significant uterine perforation and a small bowel tear.” In addition, parts of the unborn child were found inside Shantese’s abdomen.

And don’t forget the Nebraska Planned Parenthood clinic that refused to disclose the terms of a settlement with another victim whose botched abortion resulted in a perforated uterus, massive blood loss, an emergency hysterectomy, permanent infertility, seizures and lifelong pain and suffering. According to the suit obtained by Life News, the woman told the abortionist and his assistants to stop, but was told: “We can’t stop.” The Planned Parenthood employees held her down to complete the procedure.

(More forgotten victims of choice here.)

None of this is disclosed on Planned Parenthood’s informational website aimed at teenage girls, of course. Instead, the group aggressively advises pregnant girls under 18 on how to avoid telling their parents about visiting their abortion clinics through a process known as “judicial bypass.”

Through its “award-winning” website Teenwire, Planned Parenthood ideologues normalize teen sexual activity, peddle their “family planning” services, whitewash the physical and moral consequences of abortion, downplay the long-term psychological consequences and circumvent parental authority at every opportunity. What other enterprise receives taxpayer support to entice children to hide their health decisions from their own mothers and fathers?

Planned Parenthood is a $1-plus billion business that rakes in one-third of its budget from government grants and contracts at both the state and federal levels. Congress has interrogated banking, energy, health insurance, tobacco and oil execs — treating them like serial killers before the cameras. When will they finally de-fund a corrupt industry that has real blood on its hands?

Planned Parenthood Missing Over $1 Billion Taxpayer Dollars

Planned Parenthood Missing Over $1 Billion Taxpayer Dollars

2010 June 23

What is Planned Parenthood Doing With Our Money?

Ever misplace over a billion dollars?  What do you think would happen to you if you did?  How long would your prison sentence be?  Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is missing around $1.3 billion of government assistance.  Where’s the outrage?  Where are the investigations?  Where is the congressional hearing?

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) just released a new report on Planned Parenthood’s handling of money given through federal grants and programs.  Between 2002 and 2008 the government funneled 2 billion dollars to PPFA.  But the GAO audit on the organization shows only $657.1 million of that money has been spent during that time.

That leaves over $1.3 billion taxpayer dollars unaccounted for!  Where is it? Just under 33 percent of the money given to PPFA by the federal government has been spent.  And as of right now there is no account of where the rest of the money is.

“Why the discrepancy? These numbers don’t add up and from an organization with a track record like Planned Parenthood’s, the American people deserve an explanation.” – Rita Diller, American Life League

This report was done after 31 U.S. senators and representatives asked for it.  In the last year many reports have come out in the press of various local Planned Parenthoods being involved with illegal abortions, covering up rape cases, and lying about what an abortion does to the fetus.  Just today a news story came out about a Planned Parenthood in Iowa teaching 8th graders how to do graphic sex acts.

Such a report should shock Americans when you realize what ObamaCare will fund.  Obama’s health care overhaul will give “health centers” like Planned Parenthood over $11 billion.  So you are going to give a lot more money to a group that can’t account for 70 percent of its funding.  Most of that funding that PPFA did spend was to woo women into their facilities for free health care, then they give them free birth control, and when that fails they are ready to provide abortions.  How many abortions?  PPFA admits that between 2002-2008 they aborted over 1.8 million unborn babies.

“At a time when the majority of Americans consider themselves pro-life, Planned Parenthood rakes in over two billion of our tax dollars, inconsistently reports how they spent our tax money and then admits to killing 1,803,302 preborn babies between 2002 and 2008 alone.  A growing number of Americans are fed up. It’s time to defund Planned Parenthood.” – Diller

I agree with Diller (who wrote an op-ed on this issue in the Washington Times).  Recent polls over the last couple of years have consistently shown that most Americans are pro-life and are definitely against government funding of abortion and abortion clinics.  How in the world can we continue to fund Planned Parenthood with the American tax dollars?  If we thought ACORN was bad then we should unite together as citizens and demand that government support for PPFA stops today!

Planned Parenthood, a Social Disease

Planned Parenthood, a Social Disease

By Chuck Rogér

Planned Parenthood. The sensible-sounding name distracts from what the organization helps achieve: the cheapening of society.
The mission of Planned Parenthood has changed since the days of founder Margaret Sanger. Among the eugenicist’s progressive efforts, in 1939, Sanger conceived the “Negro Project” to reduce the population of “inferior” black Americans [1]. Today, Planned Parenthood claims to deliver “vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of women, men, and young people worldwide.”
Noble language. But visiting PPF’s abortion-focused website makes traditional Americans feel dirty. Reading “Healthy, Happy and Hot,” a PPF affiliate‘s guide to the “rights” of young HIV-carriers, sends traditionalists looking for a hot shower and strong soap.

Problems begin on the first page. IPPF (International Planned Parenthood Federation) authors employ the euphemistic “reproductive rights” to declare that a woman deciding that her unborn baby must die is one of the “human rights … recognized around the world[.]” A steady descent into moral nowhere-land then commences.
Young people living with HIV may feel that sex is just not an option, but don’t worry-many young people living with HIV live healthy, fun, happy and sexually fulfilling lives. You can too, if you want to! Things get easier (and sex can get even better) as you become more comfortable with your status.
People who believe in restraint, responsibility, and sensible values find the passage disturbing. But the outrageousness only intensifies. IPPF points out that the guide can be used by HIV carriers who “just want to have sex.” To make sex easier to come by, the guide gins up a “right” to conceal the disease from partners on the basis that partners might discover other secrets, such as drug use or “having sex outside of a marriage or having sex with people of the same gender.” Childish illogic and casual tone underscore how low Western morals have sunk, how badly self-respect and accountability have crumbled. But don’t worry: “There are lot’s [sic] of people who don’t mind whether their partner(s) is HIV negative or positive.”

Sinking lower, IPPF proclaims that some countries “violate the rights of people living with HIV by forcing them to disclose” the disease. By extension, then, asking a reckless driver to sound the horn at a pedestrian directly ahead violates the driver‘s rights.

Having established that death-by-sex requires no forewarning, the guide moves on.
“Young people living with HIV have the right to sexual pleasure.”
At this point, a reasonable person anticipates reading some advice on placing good decision-making above sexual satisfaction. But there is time and space only to conjure up more “rights.”
“Young people living with HIV have the right to take care of their sexual health.”
Self-care seems reasonable — until the guide clarifies that “sexual health” means having plenty of sex to stay healthy. So, then, IPPF has created a magical right for HIV-carriers to have sex to maintain sexual health, which is itself a right. And the rights keep flowing.
“Young people living with HIV have the right to practise [sic] safer sex.”
The “right” to not act immorally? Presumably, airline baggage handlers have the right to not push coworkers under the wheels of taxiing 747s.
The descent into depravity quickens when “Healthy, Happy and Hot” eggs on intoxicated HIV-carriers to have sex as long as the carriers “plan ahead by bringing condoms” or taking other measures. Behold the progressive mind that trusts someone who contracts a killer virus during unprotected sex to possess the decency to use protection while stoned.
The guide’s decency hits rock bottom in “Tips for making sex safer,” where a sidebar notes:
It is not always possible to talk to your partner(s) about or to practise [sic] safer sex — for example, maybe you know that your partner will get angry or aggressive, or you don’t have access to condoms or a safe place to have sex.
So while intoxication shouldn’t rule out safe sex, fear or a sudden urge at an inconvenient moment licenses one to act with abandon. In the progressive mentality, excuses excuse irresponsibility.
The irresponsibility theme dominates “Healthy, Happy and Hot,” which excuses the behavior of people who fail to use human intellect to suppress animal urges. The guide ends up implying that unmarried people who routinely practice unprotected sex with multiple partners stand at moral parity with monogamous married people. The moral equivalence comes as no surprise to clear thinkers aware of the devastating decline of sexual mores and the dirtying of American culture by enlightened progressives.
Enlightenment’s aftermath is instructive. The percent of women condoning premarital intercourse tripled to 91 percent between the late 1950s and late 1980s. As of 2005, over two-thirds of blacks and half of Latino high-schoolers were having intercourse, while over half of all fifteen- to nineteen-year-olds were performing oral sex. Results? In 2008, babies born to unmarried women accounted for 41 percent of American births. The figure stands at 70 percent among blacks, a startling 218-percent explosion since the 1960s.
But the assault on the culture is just shifting into high gear. Released earlier this year, “Healthy, Happy and Hot” has already gone mainstream in America. The guide was distributed by Planned Parenthood at a U.N. “no-adults-welcome panel” hosted in March by the World Association of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides. In the progressive view, self-indulgence must start at an early age.
With self-indulgence now the norm, “Healthy, Happy and Hot” essentially cries, “Vive la décadence!” Healthy people beware, for HIV-carriers have a “right” to sexual satisfaction. But do people have equivalent risks of contracting HIV from infected and uninfected sexual partners? The open-and-shut answer lies beyond the range of Planned Parenthood’s radar.
Morally adrift enablers such as Planned Parenthood comprehend neither the immorality of wrapping people in feel-good excuses for bad behavior nor the willpower-weakening effects of false rights and unearned self-esteem. Absent from “Healthy, Happy and Hot” is any suggestion of abandoning the promiscuity that facilitates HIV’s spread. Instead, the guide reinforces a casual attitude toward sex that rejects accountability, erodes self-respect, and coarsens civilization.
According to Planned Parenthood, people have the “right” to self-esteem, the “right” to respect from others, and therefore the “right” to behave in any manner without forfeiting either self-esteem or respect. Embracing honesty, wholesomeness, and achievement in order to build self-esteem and earn respect has no place in the world that progressives built.

Two American Idols Give Back

Two American Idols Give Back

By Jeannie DeAngelis

Based on Simon Cowell’s snarky, acerbic wit, it’s hard to imagine the “American Idol” judge being enamored of anyone, let alone a pitchy American amateur like Barack Obama. So it was a surprise to find out that the two men are equally enthralled with each other. It appears that Simon tried to get Obama to do a show, and Obama requested a dinner date with the cheeky Cowell. Two superstars supping and sharing — one a judge, the other an American deity who Simon Cowell apparently believes is “a really cool guy.”
What in the world would these two diametrically dissimilar chaps discuss over dinner?
It appears that the answer may have nothing to do with Cowell sleeping over in the Lincoln bedroom, or Barry convincing Simon that he should be given an opportunity to do a guest spot on Idol. Quite the contrary: Cowell needs something from Obama, and Obama always seeks something from everyone.
Apparently, Simon Cowell is chief executive officer of International Save the Children, an organization central to the American Idol fund-raising campaign “Idol Gives Back.” As it turns out, Save the Children is not only concerned with “saving” children — it’s also interested in promoting international family planning, which is code for aborting children.
In the past, Save the Children worked directly with Planned Parenthood, the Population Action Council, and the pro-abortion Audubon Society and its five-year “Planet Campaign.” The Planet Campaign isn’t only about recycling plastic and using cloth napkins; it also supports population-control programs that use code words for abortion like “women’s reproductive health and family planning” and advance those seemingly benign concepts “in various countries and diverse cultures around the world.”
Apparently, “Save the Children … identifies access to family planning as a key factor contributing to maternal and child survival and well being.” Promoting child survival by aborting babies?
“Idol Gives Back” also contributes to UNICEF. Everyone has given pennies to the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund that “unites for children” and whose logo portrays a Madonna and child. The only problem is that several divisions of the United Nations donate monies to Planned Parenthood, and according to documentation, the organization “wholeheartedly embraces [Planned Parenthood’s] abortion and population control agenda.”
So it appears that it’s very possible that the $140 million dollars the “Idol Gives Back” charity event raised in 2007 and 2008 assisted in the disposal of the unborn worldwide. Can anyone say, “This is…‘Ammmmerican Idol‘?”
Back to Cowell and the Commander-in-Chief, and what the dynamic duo’s relationship potentially offers each. No one raises money better than Barack Obama; heck, even Wall Street forked over millions to him. Much to the delight of Simon Cowell, it appears that the most pro-choice president ever to put size 12s up on the desk in the Oval Office contributed to Idol by way of video message. Barack was a featured guest on “Idol Gives Back,” and by being one, he ensured that children who would otherwise be hungry end up dead instead.
Obama is always eager to be seen in prime time, especially on a show that has the word “idol” in the title and to give a shot in the arm to the culture of death. The first couple raised money for “Idol Gives Back,” Cowell scored by offering the POTUS and FLOTUS face time, and, in the process, everyone benefited by ensuring that fewer poor children drain the health care system.
Now, what could Obama possibly want from Simon? Well, it seems that when recentlyappearing on the “Tonight Show,”  Obama expressed the opinion that everyone in Washington, D.C. is a critic. Obama views those residing behind the judge’s desk inside the beltway as “[u]nfortunately … all like Simon Cowell.” This means that while “Soul Patrol” Michelle, Sasha, and Malia sang along with Taylor Hicks, Obama may have been watching American Idol with an eye to replace a Supreme Court judge about to retire.
President Barack Obama, sounding like fifth-season “American Idol” finalist Kellie Pickler on “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?”, claimed to have no “litmus test,” but then he said that the nominee who would replace Stevens would have to “pay heed to the rights of women and the privacy of their bodies.” Huh?
Obama emphasized that it is “very important” that Justice John Paul Steven’s replacement take “women’s rights into account in interpreting the Constitution.” Is that Obama’s idea of a non-litmus litmus test?
That is where Simon Cowell comes in.
Simon has been a judge for eons on American Idol, which makes him an experienced arbitrator. The Idol favorite is leaving the show next season, so it’s likely that Obama is aware that Cowell will be available. Simon Cowell served as chief executive officer of an organization that supports pro-choice groups, which fulfills Obama’s “pays heed” and respects “the rights of women and the privacy of their bodies” non-litmus litmus test.
“American Idol” judge Simon Cowell would be the perfect candidate for Supreme Court Justice.
Based on experience and expertise, “American Idol” judge Simon Phillip Cowell is an ideal fit to replace Justice Stevens, and more worthy to sit on the highest court than an inexperienced Chicago community organizer is to stand in front of the United States presidential seal.
Simon Cowell got Obama to raise money for “Idol Gives Back,” which funds organizations that take away lives. In return, Barack Obama may have found a replacement Supreme Court judge, and one that will likely uphold the right to choose. And in the end, the nation found out that funding death is considered charity to two of America’s idols.
