Iran Commander: We Have Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles

Iran Commander: We Have Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles

Reza Khalili

Iran has the technological ability to target any point
on the planet with an intercontinental ballistic missile should it choose to,
according to Brig. Gen. Seyyed Mehdi Farahi of the Revolutionary Guards Corps,
who is the director of the Iranian air and space industries.

recent editorial
the Iranian Keyhan newspaper, the mouthpiece of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah
Ali Khamenei, reports on Iran’s ballistic missile technology with a headline
“Iran Now Exports Ballistic Missiles.”

In the report the general brags about Iran’s military
might and its ability to simultaneously launch 14 or more rockets with extreme
precision. He says that the export of ballistic missiles and the progress in
Iran’s space program are signs that Iran has achieved the highest levels of
military and technological excellence.

Despite international sanctions, the general

“Today, I proudly announce that an Islamic Iran is not
only capable of exporting industrial and defense products but also technology
and defense technology as well.”

Military experts and analysts who cover Iranian
military and defense issues have acknowledged that Iran does in fact have the
strongest ballistic missile program in the Middle East and that the low costs of
the missiles has in fact taken the ballistic missile market out of the West’s
hands, the editorial says.

The newspaper cites recent testimony before the U.S.
Senate Armed Services Committee by the director of the U.S. Defense Intelligence
Agency, Lt. Gen. Ronald L. Burgess. “Iran’s progress in building ballistic
missiles is noticeable, and with the launch of satellites to space it became
clear that Iran has succeeded in building intercontinental ballistic missiles,”
the general testified, according to the paper. The successful launch of the
Rasad satellite to space drew the attention of observers and foreign
counterparts, the general reportedly testified.

The Safir missile is capable of transporting a
satellite into space and indeed a ballistic missile that can reach beyond the
earth’s gravity into orbit. The missile has twice been vertically shot over the

earth’s atmosphere, the editorial says, “but if one day Iran decides that this
missile should be shot parallel to the earth’s orbit, the missile will actually
be transformed into an intercontinental ballistic missile (that) has the
capability to destroy targets in other continents.”

“In other words,” the editorial concludes, “the fact
that Iran currently possesses technology that can put satellites into orbit
means that Iran has also obtained intercontinental ballistic missiles with solid
fuel capabilities and that at any moment, this technology can be put to military

Iranian officials recently announced that they have
successfully developed the necessary technology to build and launch satellites
designed to travel in an orbit 21,750 miles above the earth’s equator  — and
that, in the next few months, they will launch another rocket into space, this
time carrying a monkey with a payload of 330 kilograms..

According to Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, a nuclear weapons
expert who has served in the CIA, “Historically, if a nation could put a large
payload (hundreds of kilograms) into orbit, that has been treated as a milestone
signifying that they have a military ICBM capability. We appear to have changed
this rule for Iran’s space program.  If Western analysts today applied the same
standards to Iran that we have applied to the USSR and China in the past, we
would conclude that Iran already has an ICBM capability.

“It seems that the Obama administration is unwilling
to acknowledge this, perhaps not seeing it in its best interest, alluding that
it still has time to negotiate,” says Pry, who has also served with the EMP
Commission and is now president of EMPact America.

The radicals ruling Iran have now passed a major
threshold in both their nuclear and missile programs. Barring any military
action, which seems unlikely, there is no stopping them.

We only have ourselves to blame as it is now certain
that the Jihadists in Tehran will have nuclear bombs with the delivery system to
target any country on the planet. Though the West relies on the policy of Mutual
Assured Destruction, it will find how wrong this policy is with

Mexicans Who Happen to be Living in America Demand Racial-Grievance Studies

Mexicans Who Happen to be Living in America Demand Racial-Grievance

May 13th, 2011

Don Feder,

Multiculturalism, which used to be merely noxious, has become a raging
infection which poses as much of a threat to America as the national debt or
terrorism — before Osama assumed room temperature.

Recently, a gang of ethnocentric thugs took over a meeting of the governing
board of the Tucson, Arizona, Unified School District, chaining themselves to
desks, screaming slogans, and chasing board members from the room.

They were enraged by an attempt to make a course that teaches history “from a
Mexican-American perspective” optional instead of a substitute for a required
course in U.S. history.

The Mexican American Studies Program incites approximately 1,700 middle-and
high-school students in the district annually.

After an investigation, Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom
Horne determined that the basic theme of the curriculum (AKA: Raza — “the race”
— Studies) is that Hispanic students “were and continue to be victims of a
racist American society driven by the interests of middle- and upper-class

Classrooms in which this pedagogy is perpetrated are decorated with pictures
of such Latino “heroes” as Castro and Che Guevara.

Textbooks refer to citizens of this country as “Anglos” or “Euroamericans”
(rather than Americans) and include such gems as an essay by one Robert Jensen,
which claims Thanksgiving is a “white supremacist holiday” that should be
replaced by a “National Day of Atonement” for gringo sins against people of

The introductory chapter promises: “We will see how half of Mexico
(California, Texas and the Southwest) was ripped off by trickery and
violence. We will see how Chicanos became a colonized people. In the process of
being colonized, we were robbed of land and other resources.” The nerve of those
Texans, tricking Santa Anna into attacking the Alamo and killing its
defenders to the last man.

In violation of a recently enacted Arizona law, the curriculum promotes the overthrow of the United States government and “resentment toward a race or class of people,” is “designed primarily for pupils of a particular ethnic group” and advocates “ethnic solidarity instead of treatment of pupils as individuals.”

The multiculturalist assault on America is multifaceted.

In 2010, on Cinco de Mayo (which celebrates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory
over the French – big whoopee), a group of patriotic students at the Live Oak
High School in Morgan Hill, California, were sent home for wearing American-flag
t-shirts. Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez is said to have….

You’ve got to hand it to the thugs running Iran. They
learned a thing or two about how to break up demonstrations during the last go
around with the reformers and have applied the lessons with vigor.

Thousands of opposition supporters have clashed with security forces
in the centre of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
Police used tear gas and detained dozens rallying in solidarity with
uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia. There was one report of a death in Tehran.
The BBC also received reports of similar protests being held in the cities of
Isfahan, Mashhad and Shiraz.
Earlier, the police placed opposition leader Mir Hossein Mousavi under house
arrest, according to his website.
It said the move was intended to prevent the former prime minister attending
the march in Tehran, which the authorities had prohibited. The road leading to
Mr Mousavi’s house was also blocked by police vans.
Fellow opposition leader Mehdi Karroubi, a former speaker of parliament and a
senior cleric, is also reportedly under de facto house arrest.

The situation got ugly, quickly: CNN

Uniformed security forces and pro-government Basij militiamen had earlier
advanced on crowds who chanted “Death to the dictator!” during demonstrations in
the city’s Imam Hossein Square — the planned starting point of a scheduled
rally, a witness said.
“We definitely see them as enemies of the revolution and spies, and we will
confront them with force,” said Cmdr. Hossein Hamedani of the Revolutionary
Guard, according to the official Islamic Republic News Agency.
Thousands of security personnel lined Revolution Avenue, allowing the march
to continue but preventing the marchers from congregating in Azadi Square —
considered a rallying point by opposition groups.
“You can’t take two steps without running into security personnel,” one
witness said. “They’re all over the place.”
Several protesters who were diverted by police to side streets were beaten
with batons and gassed by security officers who were waiting at those locations,
witnesses said.

That the protestors were able to organize at all is a testament to the adage
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” It takes more than guts to join a protest
these days in Iran – as evidenced by what happened to so many after the last go

The opposition says more than 80 of its supporters were killed over the
following six months, a figure the government disputes. Several have been
sentenced to death, and dozens jailed.

Can the Iranian opposition rev up the demonstrations again? They may try, but
unlike Egypt, Iran has the state security apparatus that would have no problem
massacring their own people – the basij and the Revolutionary Guards. It will
take a lot of moxie to participate in protests when you know the security forces
could open fire at any time.

E-Verify Efforts In States Are Even More Critical As Pew Study Reveals 8 Million Illegal Aliens Still Hold U.S. Jobs

E-Verify Efforts In States Are Even More Critical As Pew
Study Reveals 8 Million Illegal Aliens Still Hold U.S. Jobs
Chris ChmielenskiAll federal and state enforcement efforts against illegal
immigration the last year failed to reduce the number of illegal aliens holding
U.S. jobs and keeping unemployed Americans from having them, according to a Pew Hispanic Center study released this week.
In the few states that have seriously implemented their own mandatory E-Verify laws, the number of illegal aliens has
declined. But the annual count of illegal aliens by Pew indicated that the
illegal foreign workers are mainly moving to lax-enforcement states and taking
jobs there. Thus, the number of jobs held nationally by illegal aliens remained
steady at 8 million.
The answer, of course, is to make E-Verify mandatory nationally (through
Congress) or greatly increase the number of states doing so. But time is running
out in several states as their short legislature session head to a close for the
Yesterday, a Kentucky House committee approved a mandatory E-Verify bill,
but there’s still a lot of work to be done in the Bluegrass State and many other states across the country.
Continue to check your Action Board for new and updated state level faxes and phone

pass a mandatory E-Verify bill this year.
Roy’s newest blog highlights his Politico op-ed that ran on
Thursday, which demonstrates how mandatory E-Verify for all employers would fit
in perfectly with the Obama Administration’s current “soft-enforcement” approach
and free up millions of jobs for unemployed Americans.
GUMBALLS APPROACHES 1 MILLION: In less than 4 months, Roy’s

This important video tests the humanitarian reasons for current U.S.
immigration policy, and should be viewed by all Americans, especially those
concerned with helping the world’s impoverished nations.

Video of the Day: Franklin Graham, Obama Scoffed at Jesus

Video of the Day: Franklin Graham, Obama Scoffed at

January 30th, 2011

Not everyone appreciated Barack Obama’s Tuscon shooting
memorial. The Rev. Franklin Graham, the son of Billy Graham and founder of Samaritan’s Purse, told the Christian
students of John Brown University: “There was no call for God to put His loving
arms around those who were hurting. Why did they leave him out? They scoff at
the name of Jesus Christ.” He added, “The spirit of anti-Christ is everywhere.”

Obama’s Tucson Memorial Speech Was More Manipulation

Obama’s Tucson Memorial Speech Was More Manipulation

Lloyd Marcus

When I was a kid, my black dad spoke with what felt like admiration about
Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Powell was a handsome, articulate, famed, and powerful
black minister and congressman. Despite adulterous affairs with women in his
church, charges of financial misconduct and wild parties on his yacht, it was
said that women joined Powell’s church several times for the thrill of coming to
the front of the congregation to shake his hand.
My dad has been the epitome of character all of my life. And yet, something
about Powell’s persona and ability to deliver a riveting sermon fascinated my
dad. As a kid, given Powell’s lack of character, I did not hold the smooth
talking playboy minister in high regard.
Conservative intellectuals’ rave reviews of Obama’s memorial speech for the
Tucson shooting victims give me an insight into my dad’s positive view of
Obama’s speech struck me as more of the same; his masterful sleazy bait and
switch talking from both sides of his mouth. In a nutshell, while saying the
shooting had nothing to do with politics, Obama lectured Americans about the
need for more civility in political speech.
Meanwhile, Obama’s minions have written thousands of articles holding the
Tea Party Movement, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin
responsible for the shooting. Even Michelle Obama chimed in with her letter
calling for more civility.
When Obama said we need to tone down our language for Christina Green, the
little girl who was killed in the shooting, it turned my stomach; how
exploitative and manipulative- so typically Democrat. It felt like a moment from
the liberal Democrat Senator Paul Wellstone Memorial, another memorial which the
Democrats exploited for political gain. “Do it for Paul! Do it for
So when conservative guru Dr. Charles Krauthammer and the Fox News team
gave Obama almost tearful rave reviews for his brilliant speech, I thought, “Am
I crazy?”

Then, I realized, like my dad, Krauthammer and the Fox team are
intellectuals. They “get off” on appearances and sounding “smart.”  I’m just a
regular guy who puts stock into who a person really is — people who say what
they mean, mean what they say, and do it.
Listening to Obama’s speech, all I heard was a despicable man exploiting
the event to silence opposition to his destruction of America as we know it.
Frankly, I am proud to be named among the tea party patriots, rather than
the political elites on both sides of the isle. We have had enough of putting
pretty smooth talking scoundrels in political office who betray us. I’ll take
character over eloquent oratory, any day.

Cartoon of the Day: Health Issues Behind the Arizona Shooting

About those memorial T-Shirts

About those memorial T-Shirts

Ethel C.

Adding to the political rally atmosphere instead of
memorial mood for the victims of the Tucson tragedy by a deranged assassin, were
the t-shirts handed out to participants as they entered the University of
Arizona’s arena.

The apparel didn’t focus on the dead/injured nor were
they the idea of the University of Arizona administration but instead were
emblazoned with a President Barack Obama (D) campaign theme, “Together We
Thrive.” And so it should come as no surprise that they were distributed
by…Obama’s own Organzing for America, reports Judi McLeod of the Canada Free Press.

The “Together We Thrive” T-shirts that starred at Wednesday’s
Arizona `Memorial’ originated from Organizing for America (here), a sad fact
unearthed by The Drumbeat of Liberty and the Preservation of Freedom editor and
Canada Free Press (CFP) columnist Robert Rohlfing.

mainstream media reported that the “Together We Thrive: Tucson & America”
T-shirt given to mourners as they entered McKate Center was the idea of
University of Arizona brass, not the Obama administration.
Yet the “Together We Thrive” slogan dates back to a post to Obama’s own
Organizing for America in a Feb. 11, 2008 post by self-described “globalist”
John Berry IV.
More than passing strange that the Obama campaign message of civility was the
same on Feb. 11, 2008 as it was in his Wednesday Memorial speech, and the same
one, too carried by the mainstream media in coverage of the

And for those in attendance

If you were a mourner who took home a “Together We Thrive” T-shirt have a
look at the bottom of your shirt. “Rocking America and Rocking the Vote” is a
common theme of the DNC, and it’s right there on your Memorial T-shirt

No mention if there was also a tag on the t-shirt reading Made In China.

Sheriff Dupnik Must Resign

Sheriff Dupnik Must Resign

By E.W. Jackson

Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, an elected leader entrusted with preserving the
rights of the innocent regardless of party affiliation, has made it clear he is
unable to carry out his duties in an unbiased manner.  Nor is this the first
time he has shown himself unable to set politics aside in the performance of his
duty.  When Arizona passed the bill dealing with illegal immigration, he refused
to enforce the law.
Now he has claimed that the vitriol of political discourse from
conservatives on radio and television and from the Tea Party led to nineteen
people being shot and six of them murdered.  He called his own home state of
Arizona a “Mecca of bigotry and hatred.”  Other Democrats are echoing the
slander, claiming that the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh,
and all conservatives are responsible for the deaths of our fellow Americans in
Dupnik should apologize and resign for his incendiary and biased comments.
Given the spotlight, he could not bring himself to behave like a professional
law enforcement officer and stick with the facts.  He used his fifteen minutes
of fame to lash out at political opponents by calling them bigots, racists, and
inciters of violence, lumping in the entire state of Arizona.  He failed to
acknowledge that the only violence at a Tea Party event was perpetrated by
Democrat Teamster thugs against a black Tea Party activist.  As a black
American, I think those who throw around the labels of “bigot,” “racist,” and
“hater” are guilty of the very thing of which they accuse others, and they do
our country a great disservice.
Dupnik and those on the left have used this as an opportunity to smear
law-abiding citizens across the country while overlooking the calling cards of a
disturbed man.  It is clear that Jared Loughner, in his demented condition,
rejected God and all moral absolutes.  There was the discovery of his backyard
shrine — containing a skull with burnt oranges — and reports that his favorite
books included The Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf.  This
is all anti-Christian behavior.  Should we blame liberals and the ACLU for
creating an atmosphere of hostility to Christianity, Judeo-Christian, values and
the God of the Bible?
If there is a lesson to be learned from this mass murder, it is that we
must stop romanticizing and minimizing the risks of mental illness.  We need to
get help for people who are a danger to themselves and others, not shut down
vigorous political discourse in our country.  Liberals can make the process of
debate much less bitter by sticking to the issues rather than calling people
names.  A good start would be for Democrats to ask Sheriff Dupnik to resign and
go home to take a long look in the mirror.  Then maybe his Democrat colleagues
will do the same.
My prayers go out to the families and friends of Federal Judge John Roll,
Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, and all those involved in the senseless
shooting at her event.  There is no place in our society for violent attacks of
any kind, especially against those who selflessly choose to serve in public
office.  Our nation prides itself on civility.  May God bring strength to them
and their families, and to our entire nation.
God bless the heroic Americans who intervened in this tragic event.  No one
stopped to ask, “Are you conservative, liberal, heterosexual, homosexual, black,
or white?”  Americans stepped in and helped each other.  That is who we are.
The actions of one deranged individual should not be exploited to advance the
liberals’ political obsession with silencing their opponents.
We should view the aftermath of this horrific event as another
demonstration of the greatness of our country.  Real Americans do not ask how a
crisis can be used for political gain.  We act in unity and common concern for
each other without regard to race, gender, or politics.  We respond to crisis by
rising to the occasion, not lowering ourselves to using innocent victims as
pawns in a political game.  The attack on conservatives and the Tea Party, or
the attempt to associate this unbalanced individual with them, is irresponsible
and beneath contempt.
The double standard of the left is despicable and intolerable.  While the
entertainment industry makes billions selling violent movies, lyrics, and video
games, liberals consistently argue that these expressions are not to blame for
any crimes or self-destructive behavior.  “Leave these ‘artists’ alone,” they
cry.  However, because they think they can further their political agenda, they
enthusiastically claim that an act by one deranged individual was caused by the
“tone” of conservative rhetoric heard in the media.  No reasonable person would
conclude that free speech should be illegal because some deranged person might
be incited to violence.
