Anyone have insurance with Progressive?

Anyone have insurance with Progressive? I’ll think even worse about
that stupid commercial with the crazy girl in the white dress from
now on!

PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE is owned by Peter Lewis: Who is he? Read
this…VERY IMPORTANT INFO TO PASS TO EVERYONE CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR
COUNTRY.

You’ve seen and smiled at the Progressive Insurance TV commercials.
Well, you’re about to learn the rest of the story:

PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE

You know their TV commercials, the ones featuring the
ditsy actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that
the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders
of leftist causes in America . Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled
$15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying
what’s left of Americas Judeo-Christian
heritage. Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org
and American Coming Together, two key propaganda arms of the
socialist left. His funding
for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George  Soros,
the America-hating socialist who is the chief
financier of the Obama political machine.
Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a
progressive movement that threatens to destroy the American free
enterprise system that is
targeting television shows on Fox News.

Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who
buy his auto insurance) that he applies
to dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He’s banking on
no one finding out who he is, so,
STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this information on to all  your
friends.

All of a sudden I don’t care for their “funny commercials.”

The American Civil Liberties Union is pushing for porn at a detention center in Moncks Corner, South Carolina

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (KABC) —
The American Civil Liberties Union is pushing for porn at a detention
center in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

The move came after reports surfaced that the facility only allowed inmates
to read the Bible. But prison officials said that isn’t true and inmates have a
wide variety of reading material at their disposal.

The ACLU said it wants prisoners to be able to read and view pornography.
Lawyers for the jail said that just won’t happen.

“If they don’t like the wording in some of our policies, we’ll be happy to
try and create better wording for them. But, there are certain issues that we’re
just not going to be able to bend on,” said Sandra J. Senn, an attorney for the
Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Berkeley County.

Officials believe porn will lead to more assaults and create a hostile
environment.

A preliminary hearing on the matter is set to take place next month.

the ACLU of Tennessee sent out a warning to schools in the state. The ACLU, which believes it has dictatorial powers, warned local schools

A couple of weeks ago, the ACLU of Tennessee sent out a warning to schools in the state.  The ACLU, which believes it has dictatorial powers, warned local schools
against Christmas celebrations.

The ACLU letter warned that they should be referred to as “holiday” celebrations and not “Christmas.”  The warning from the ACLU was not well received by many Tennesseans, who do believe the holiday celebrated in December is Christmas.

But then, what happened next can only be described as hysterical.

Tennessee has something called the Tennessee Fusion Center.  The purpose of the center is to help state agencies pool data and analyze information about possible
terror attacks.

The Tennessee Fusion Center listed the American Civil Liberties Union Chapter of Tennessee on its Internet map, listing it under “Terrorism and other suspicious activities.”

Anyone has been on the receiving end of the ALCU’s jackbooted assaults on American freedoms, they might well agree with the assessment.

The ACLU, of course, immediately went nuts.   To their executive director, the listing was “deeply disturbing.”

Personally, I think it is very accurate.

The ACLU recently filed a lawsuit to enjoin the United States from killing Al-Qaida senior operative Anwar al-Awalki.   Despite the fact he wants to murder as many Americans as possible, the ACLU was “deeply disturbed” that we
might want to kill an enemy combatant.

ACLU lawyers took photographs of what were believed to be undercover CIA operatives to Cuba to see if their clients could identify them and thus reveal their identities.

The ACLU sued over eavesdropping of foreign phone calls by the National Security Agency.

In short, the ACLU has done everything in its power to help damage American national security.

Officials with the Tennessee Fusion Center apologized for the “mistake.”

While what the center did may have been a mistake, classifying the ACLU as being connected with terrorism and suspicious activities is no mistake.
 The ACLU now insists that
there be some type of oversight and transparency on this program.

In ACLU speak, oversight means crippling our ability to protect ourselves and transparency means letting our enemies know all of our secrets.

Meanwhile, I think the Tennessee Fusion Center was absolutely on target, even if by accident with its labeling of the ACLU

The ACLU’s Communist, Atheist Roots

The ACLU’s Communist, Atheist Roots

December 16th, 2010

Dr. Paul Kengor, FloydReports.com

The ACLU seems unusually active right now. What  gives? Maybe it’s   the Christmas season, which always seems to spring the  ACLU into high   gear, making it more miserable than usual.

I tried to ignore the latest round of ACLU legal  challenges against   religious Americans, but they became too much. The  surge has been   remarkably ecumenical, not singling out Protestant or  Catholic   interests.

First, I got an email from Mat Staver’s group,  Liberty Counsel,   highlighting a bunch of ACLU lawsuits. Then I read a  page-one,   top-of-the-fold headline in the National Catholic Register,    “Catholic Hospitals Under New Attack by ACLU,” regarding an ACLU    request to compel Catholic hospitals to do abortions. Next was an email    from a colleague at Coral Ridge Ministries, forwarding a Washington Times article. Then came another email from yet another Christian group on lawsuits somewhere in Florida. And on and on.

That was just a sampling of this year’s Christmas  cheer, courtesy of   the American Civil Liberties Union. At least the ACLU  always finds a   way to unite Protestants and Catholics.

In the interest of faith and charity, I’d like to  add my own   ecumenical offering—a history lesson. It concerns some  fascinating   material I recently published on the ACLU’s early founders,  especially   three core figures: Roger Baldwin, Harry Ward, and Corliss  Lamont. I   can only provide a snapshot here, but you’ll get the picture.

First, Roger Baldwin: Baldwin was the founder of the  ACLU, so far to   the Left that he was hounded by the Justice Department  of the   progressive’s progressive, Woodrow Wilson. Perhaps it was a faith    thing. Wilson was a progressive, but he was also a devout Christian,    and Roger Baldwin was anything but that.

Baldwin was an atheist. He was also a onetime Communist, who, among other ignoble gestures, wrote a horrible 1928 book called Liberty Under the Soviets….

Faith is the Source of America’s Greatness

Faith is the Source of America’s Greatness

December 10th, 2010

Floyd and Mary Beth Brow, FloydReports.com

“America  is great  because she is good.”  Those famous  words by Alexis de  Tocqueville  still hold true as they did when he  spoke them centuries  ago.   In the  holiday season, we see repeated  demonstrations of this  goodness.  De  Tocqueville also noted, “The  Americans combine the  notions of religion  and liberty so intimately in  their minds, that it  is impossible to make  them conceive of one without  the other.”

And moreover he said, “Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.”

In   the 40 years since 1970, secular humanism has assaulted the  fabric of   this faith. The American Civil Liberties Union and various   associations  of atheists and Marxist-leaning intellectuals have   attempted to  disconnect America from God. They have failed….
