President Obama stands against Arizona for it’s new law, though he admits he hasn’t even read it.

President Calderon of Mexico stands against Arizona’s new law, and the Democrats in the House of Representatives give him a standing ovation.

Cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boulder, Boston, St. Paul, Austin, El Paso, Oakland and San Diego stand against Arizona.

All of this, and yet Arizona citizens are standing strong.
We stand with the citizens of Arizona.
Do you stand with us?

Graphic evidence of what Arizona is up against

Graphic evidence of what Arizona is up against

While educators in faraway Highland Park, Illinois, residents of the White House in distant Washington DC formerly domiciled in a heavily patrolled academic middle class area of Chicago and denizens of other insulated communities huff and puff about Arizona’s newly enacted law on immigration – a law they haven’t read and don’t understand – let’s hear from an actual resident of Arizona. Let’s see what she sees that others won’t tell you.

Arizona resident Toni Sathe Perrin distributed a personal e mail asking us to “Please understand what is really happening in Arizona” thoughtfully including some vivid pictures of the Sonoran Desert with her commentary; commentary and sights missing from most recent reports. Stretching from northern Mexico, southwestern Arizona and southeastern California, the Sonoran Desert has the barrenness one associates with a wilderness along with areas of striking stark beauty. It is also one of the many routes used by illegal aliens of all backgrounds to sneak into the United States.

And yes, diversity loving profilers busy condemning the Arizona laws and its 65%+ American supporters “illegal aliens of all backgrounds.” As Perrin explains

“Illegals are not just Mexican or Hispanic. A large militant Arab population goes to South America to learn enough Spanish to “pass” as Mexicans. They colonize in Arizona, especially in the south around Tucson. Arizona has become a gateway for Al Qaida and other anti-American groups. There are parts of Arizona that resemble third world slums where English is not spoken.”

Does former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano (D) know about this? Did she in her years as governor?

Years ago Perrin was a legal alien in England for over three years. And the fair skinned Perrin was ordered by the profiling Brits ” I carried identification in the form of a government-issued booklet and produced it on demand. It took up less space than a cell phone or a long grocery list. I experienced “racial profiling” as an American. So what! It’s nothing. It’s part of life in countries all over the world. No country is as liberal about their borders as the U.S.”

Hmmmm, threatening fair skinned me, I also need some identification to board a plane, enter some government and office buildings, hospitals and other public, semi public areas.

Here is the Sonoran Desert not pictured in tourist brochures or in MSM as explained by Ms Perrin.

This is on an ‘illegal super – highway’ from Mexico to the USA ( Tucson ) used by human smugglers.

This area is located in a wash, approximately 1.5 miles long, just south of Tucson , Arizona . If a flood came, all this would be washed to the river and then onto the sea!

The trash left behind by people illegally crossing our border is another Environmental Disaster to hit the USA .

If these actions had been done in one of our Northwest Forests or Seashore National Parks areas, there would be an uprising of the American people…..but this is the Arizona-Mexican border.

You won’t see these pictures on CNN, ABC, NBC or the Arizona Republic Repugnant newspaper. Nor will they mention the disease that comes from the uncovered human waste left in our desert.

Barry and Brewer’s Border Brouhaha

Barry and Brewer’s Border Brouhaha

Jeannie DeAngelis

Governor Jan Brewer has requested President Obama help secure the border with Mexico by reassigning National Guard helicopters from other states and training missions to Arizona.

Governor Brewer’s Border Security Plan calls for additional covert National Guard reconnaissance, increased National Guard aerial patrolling, annual National Guard military exercises conducted in regions along the border, increased economic and logistical support for local law enforcement, and improved border county interaction and federal agency partnership.  The Governor’s plan also calls for substantial expansion of the Joint Counter Narco-Terrorism Task Force (JCNTF).

Governor Brewer made the request in a letter to Obama, dated the day after the state dinner for Mexican president Felipe Calderón. Brewer must have felt if 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue could be so heavily guarded by security, secret service and ID checkers for a state dinner and after party, why not some choppers to keep drug runners, gangs, illegals and violent criminals out of Arizona?

While attempting to enforce immigration law in Arizona the governor claims to have only, “…four OH-58 Kiowa helicopters available for border missions,” at her disposal.  Apparently, “choppers are deployed overseas and others are reserved for training missions.”

Maybe there are extra helicopters hanging around the premises left over from Beyonce’s Margarita and Felipe performance on the South Lawn of the White House that could be freed up for border reconnaissance missions

In addition to recently requesting air support Governor Jan Brewer also took the disingenuous, inappropriate nature of Obama’s immigration statements and sentiments to task.

Daily Jan Brewer stares down Mexican banditos, so publicly spanking Barry for misstatements, bad attitudes and misrepresentation of the Arizona bill, was no big deal for a governor determined to protect a border state and uphold the rule of law, and well she should.

The Obama administration has distorted and politicized the Arizona law, as well as using a serious issue to divide the nation along racial lines.   The President also incorporated Arizona’s attempt to close unsecured borders into the butt of juvenile jokes.

And while Barack Obama may host a great party, and even graciously share the stage with a rat, the Arizona governor felt Barry’s obnoxious jocularity when referring to situations where drug runners murder American citizens, should be addressed.

Soon after Jan Brewer publicly pointed out Barack’s less than stellar performance as a national leader, the governor then “requested additional helicopters be freed up from training missions or taken from other states and assigned to the southwestern border.”

Now that’s a lady with chutzpah!

However, after going toe-to-toe with Barack, who seems more willing to agree with foreign leaders, criticizing American laws and statutes, than supporting a governor whose state is overrun with illegal criminals – the additional helicopter appeal doesn’t look hopeful.

“The governor acknowledges her request may be unpopular with other governors, but she says she believes there are legitimate national interests in sending more aircraft to Arizona.”

Governor Jan Brewer’s request will not only be “unpopular” with other governors, but detested by the Secretary of Homeland Security, likely mocked by the “misdirected” Barack Obama and if given a platform, Mexican border enforcer, Felipe de Jesús Calderón Hinojos could add his two cents.

Reality is, chances are better for Tareq and Michaele Salahi getting into a White House function a second time then Jan Brewer getting one scintilla of assistance from the federal government. It’s unlikely the Arizona governor’s letter, request or existence will be acknowledged by the President, let alone one additional OH-58 Kiowa granted to assist in Jan Brewer’s endeavor to secure the United States border.

Enemies of Arizona

 united in attacking Arizona

When he was running for president, Barack Obama presented himself as a man who could restore America’s reputation in the world. Since becoming president, though, Obama has given the impression that he is working overtime to tarnish it.

Let’s grant for the sake of argument that Obama was right and President Bush’s cowboy swagger made non-Americans dislike our country. Even if that were 100 percent true, it doesn’t follow that the best way to correct that is to have a president badmouth his own country at every possible opportunity.

Speaking in Strasbourg in April of last year, Obama said to the people of Europe, “Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.”

The Telegraph of London wrote, “His speech in Strasbourg went further than any United States president in history in criticising his own country’s action while standing on foreign soil.”

Dems Stand and Cheer as Calderon Bashes Arizona Law

If Jan Brewer had been the territorial governor of Hawaii in 1941 and these same Democrats were in charge, they would have applauded the Pearl Harbor attack, had a State Dinner for Hirohito, and the memorable quote from Obama’s post-attack speech would have been, “The only thing we have to fear is that the Hawaiian authorities will start profiling Japanese.”

Think about it — a foreign leader comes to the U.S., bashes a state within the U.S. for doing something that it’s well within their constitutional rights to do, and Democrats stand and cheer. This isn’t surprising but it never ceases to be amazing.

Also look for Attorney General Eric Holder at about the 23-second mark, who slowly stands up to applaud the President of Mexico for bashing an American law he hasn’t even read (h/t Freedom’s Lighthouse):

Any real American president would have shoved this guy out through the garbage exit yesterday, but not this bunch.

Look at Plugs and Blinky, who were absolutely enamored. Pelosi looks like Calderon just handed her a complimentary fistful of Botox:

null

Of course, there was that one low-key part where Calderon had something nice to say about the United States:

null

I was told they wouldn’t introduce Calderon to Robert Byrd, because the last time they did, Byrd looked up and said, “Why aren’t you in the Rose Garden weedin’ the hostaces, son?” An international incident was barely avoided.

So, sides have been chosen, and nothing should scare voters more than this kind of continual evidence that Democrats will stand for foreign leaders over one of the states in their own country. And to top it off, a state that did something that the vast majority of Americans agree with

Update: Rep. Tom McClintock responds to Calderone
