There are plenty of facts that show that the organizations that fund terrorism also fund CAIR. The Islamic Association of Palestine is an Islamic terrorist organization that raised funds in the US for terrorist attacks in Israel. Are you aware that  CAIR’s co-founder, Omar Ahmed, also co-founded the Islamic Association for Palestine? CAIR’s executive director, Nihad Awad, has described himself as a “supporter of the Hamas movement. You did know that lower-level CAIR officials have been arrested and indicted on terrorism-related charges in the United States?

The Saudi-based Islamic Development Bank, gave CAIR $250,000 in August 1999. The IDB also manages funds (Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa) which finance suicide bombings against Israeli civilians by providing funds to the families of Palestinian “martyrs.”

The International Institute of Islamic Thought, an organization linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, gave CAIR’s Washington office $14,000 in 2003, according to IIIT tax filings. David Kane, who investigated IIIT as part of Operation Green Quest’s probe into some one hundred companies and organizations, described in a sworn affidavit the various ways in which it may have funded suspected terrorist-front organizations.

The International Relief Organization (also called the International Islamic Relief Organization, or IIRO), a Saudi-financed organization being investigated by the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance for terrorism financing donated at least $12,000 to CAIR.

Randall Royer, CAIR’s communications specialist and civil rights coordinator, was indicted on charges of conspiring to help Al-Qaeda and the Taliban to battle American troops in Afghanistan. He later pled guilty to lesser firearms-related charges and was sentenced to twenty years in prison.

Ghassan Elashi, the founder of CAIR’s Texas chapter, was convicted in July 2004 along with his four brothers of having illegally shipped computers from their Dallas-area business, InfoCom Corporation, to Libya and Syria, two designated state sponsors of terrorism. In April of 2005, Elashi and two brothers were also convicted of knowingly doing business with Mousa Abu Marzook, a senior Hamas leader and Specially Designated Terrorist. He continues to face charges that he provided more than $12.4 million to Hamas while he was running the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), America’s largest Islamic charity.

Bassem Khafagi, CAIR’s community relations director, pleaded guilty in September 2003 to lying on his visa application and for passing bad checks for substantial amounts in early 2001, for which he was deported. Khafagi was also a founding member and president of the Islamic Assembly of North America (IANA), an organization under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice for terrorism-related activities.

Rabih Haddad, a CAIR fundraiser, was arrested on terrorism-related charges and deported from the United States due to his subsequent work as executive director of the Global Relief Foundation, a charity he co-founded; in October 2002, GRF was designated by the U.S. Treasury Department for financing Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations. According to a CAIR complaint, Homam Albaroudi, a member of CAIR’s Michigan chapter and also a founding member and executive director of the IANA also founded the Free Rabih Haddad Committee.

Siraj Wahhaj, a CAIR advisory board member, was named in 1995 by U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White as a possible unindicted co-conspirator in connection with the plot to blow up New York City landmarks led by the blind sheikh, Omar Abdul Rahman. 

Ihsan Bagby, a future CAIR board member, stated in the late 1980s that Muslims “can never be full citizens of this country,” referring to the United States, “because there is no way we can be fully committed to the institutions and ideologies of this country.”

Ibrahim Hooper, the future CAIR spokesman, told the Minneapolis Star Tribune on April 4, 1993: “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.”

Omar Ahmad, CAIR’s chairman, announced in July 1998 that “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran . . . should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”

PRIME Minister John Howard has blasted US presidential candidate Barack Obama, saying his policy of withdrawing troops from Iraq will destabilise the entire Middle East…

Senator Obama has introduced a bill to remove US combat forces from Iraq by March 31 next year - but the legislation has virtually no chance of becoming law while George W Bush is president, and the presidential election is not until November 2008.

In a strongly worded foray into US politics today, Mr Howard said an Obama victory in the presidential election would be disastrous for the war on terrorism.

“I think he’s wrong. I think that will just encourage those who want to completely destabilise and destroy Iraq, and create chaos and a victory for the terrorists to hang on and hope for an Obama victory,” Mr Howard said on Channel 9.

“If I were running al-Qaeda in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and be praying as many times as possible for a victory not only for Obama but also for the Democrats.” …

“If America pulls out of Iraq in March 2008 it can only be in circumstances of defeat,” Mr Howard said.

“There’s no way by March 2008, which is a little over a year from now, everything will have been stabilised so that America can get out.

“If America is defeated in Iraq, the hope of ever getting a Palestinian settlement will be gone, there will be enormous conflict between the Shia and the Sunnis throughout the whole of the Middle East, Saudi Arabia and Jordan will both be destabilised.

“Al-Qaeda will trumpet it as the greatest victory they’ve ever had, and that will have implications in our region because of the link … between al-Qaeda and JI (Jemaah Islamiyah).”

Mr Howard said it was vital Australia stayed the course with the US and Britain, criticising Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd’s plan to withdraw Australian forces.

“You either rat on the ally or you stay with the ally,” he said.

“If it’s all right for us to go, it’s all right for the Americans and the British to go, and if everybody goes Iraq will descend into total civil war and there’ll be a lot of blood shed.”

He’s right, you know.

As Egypt was once the most powerful nation in the world, where people spoke Egyptian and worshiped Egyptian G-ds -
Egypt is now of minor importance.  All Egyptians now speak Arabic, Islam is the religion of the State and its people, Copts and Christians are an imperiled minority and all dissent is strictly forbidden.  So too will
Israel loose her entire identity should Islam triumph, should a ‘one state solution’ become ‘the’ solution.  Darwish spoke to a throng of Jews and non-Jews, she told her story and pleaded that Jews unite for their very survival.    

Hope Winters in her strong, effective introduction of Nonie Darwish told the acutely attentive audience that each of us, that any one person, can effect change, and that is so.  Great movements have been initiated by single figures; Gandhi and Martin Luther King, were perhaps the most remarkable, as they commanded non-violent armies to victory, peaceably.  Hope noted the breadth of the culture of hate and the spread of Holocaust denial; hate against Jews, hate against Christians, hate against Americans in the World Trade Center, hate against Americans in the Pentagon, against Brits in London and the Spanish in Madrid, hate against poor souls in Darfur – A culture of hate pervades the world.  Yet, even in the safety of this meeting, the speaker did not utter the name of this curse threatening the world, Islam.  Until we put a face on our enemy, a name on our enemy, we will not be able to fight our enemy; our enemy is Islam.  Say it, believe it, ISLAM BREEDS HATE, ISLAM TEACHES THEIR CHILDREN HATE, ISLAM SEALS ITSELF OFF FROM VIEW, ISLAM SEALS ITSELF OFF FROM CRITICISM; say it or it will drown you. 

Nonie Darwish stood before the microphone. Without notes she spoke of her youth in Egypt and
Gaza, her typical Muslim training, her hatred of the people Islam hated, hatred of the people her parents hated, hatred of Jews, hatred of Christians, hatred of all infidels. Her father a military leader, died at the hands of the Israeli military.  Nonie said she was trained in the Koran, trained to hate.  There were no songs of love, only songs of hate. “I witnessed mutilation of girls, polygamy and oppression of Muslim women who are told from birth that they will go to Hell if they protest.”  “Songs of death and killing for Allah-and songs in praise of Jihad, for conquering the world,” that is what I heard.  

It is legal under Sha’aria law to beat your wife.  The Iman tells you how and where to strike. The wife only says, “It is G-d’s will.”  You are trying to liberate women who believe that even as she is being stoned, ‘it is G-d’s will’.  Muslim women will say: “What did she do?”  Western women say: “How could that be?”  Sadly, when I say my stories on college campuses, they don’t believe me.  Speaking out against terrorism is everyone’s job to do.   

Recently Darwish was challenged at a lecture by a Muslim cleric, Jihad he said, means ‘personal struggle’, no said Darwish, never was she taught that, there is no such concept in the Koran, never had an Iman preached that, he would have been chastised.  No Darwish said, Jihad is the Islamic conquest of the world over the bodies of infidels.  Published on November 16, 2006, is Darwish’s first book, “Now They Call Me Infidel: Why I renounced Jihad for America,

Nonie Darwish lectures today on college campuses.  She is upset about what is and what is not happening on North American campuses. The youth and many academics on prestigious college campuses stand up for aids awareness and against
Darfur genocide, but not against Muslim abuse of children or Muslim abuse of human rights.  In fact, they silence talk about Muslim abuse of women’s rights.  Never are the rapes by fathers and brothers of Muslim women spoken of, nor are the many stories told of Muslim women stoned for supposed adultery.  In the name of tolerance and multiculturalism they are not talking about Islam on the college campus. 

Tolerating intolerance is what Darwish had to say about her recent experience at

Brown
University.  First invited to speak by Brown University Hillel women’s study group, various students and student leaders thought it would upset the campus if Nonie spoke, so Brown Hillel, uninvited Darwish.  Stand With Us [www.standwithus.com] went onto the blogs, Stand With Us not only trains student advocates, and provides them with the tools to create programs and banners, but it advocates directly.  Within two and a half weeks,

University said, ‘we’d be delighted if Nonie would speak.’ 

Nonie presented her story of how her view of Islam was radically changed when she was 30, on September 11, 2001.  Before, I was an anti-Semite and blamed
Israel for everything.  I was just like every Muslim.  Now I speak in my adopted homeland of what the daily life is of Muslim men, with their four wives, of children and of women living in a Muslim country.  She was accused of being a hate monger.  “Why don’t you defend oppressed American women too?” “My subject is my culture”.  Instead of shock and horror as she spoke about what she had experienced living in Egypt and
Gaza, she met challenges. “What are your degrees?”  “What are your credentials?”  Being a professional journalist and author with a college degree failed to silence their challenges. “It never does,” Darwish said.  Darwish fought back.  “If Rosa Parks or Nelson Mandela walked onto a college campus, would they be asked what are your credentials?”  They persisted, “What are your degrees?”  “What are your credentials?”  Credentials, degrees, credentials, degrees….  Their well oiled attack machine brooked no interference, no dissent.  Credentials, degrees, credentials, degrees….  Nonie Darwish’s credentials are as a child of Islam. 

After every lecture, at least 2 or 3 Muslim women will come up to me and hug me.  They will say, “You really opened our eyes.”  That is my greatest reward. 

As Darwish continues to tell her story, fatwas and death threats grow in number, she said.  Darwish paused for a moment and looked out at the audience.  “Always, in a Synagogue I have a feeling of what is preached in this place – the message of tolerance, love and compassion-“ “I wish my people were here to know who the Jewish people are.  “The Arab-Israel conflict is a symptom of a larger conflict.  It is a proof of bondage v. freedom – Muslim men are in a constant state of anger.  Muslim’s are 65% illiterate, they know what they hear in the Mosque and on TV, poverty is pervasive, the society is stagnant.  The Arab-Israel conflict is the tip of the iceberg.

Jihad is the oldest University in Islam.  When I speak, I use the definition of Jihad found in their text book. Jihad: Holy war for world conquest.  When I spoke at
York
University in
Canada, a Muslim Chaplin asked, “What page number was the definition written on?”  Lecturing on the American college campus, they want me to say, “jihad means, ‘inner struggle’, but that is not what is heard at Friday sermons at Mosques throughout the world, it is not what is written in Islam’s newspapers, it is not uttered, ever, on Al Jezerrah or Al Minar,  the international Muslim TV channels.  The Muslim world hears only, reads only, sees only, ‘Jihad is Holy war for world conquest’.  My culture of origin is in a head on collision course with the rest of the world. Concepts of honor and pride only, come from Jihad.  Belief in revenge and martyrdom, only can come from jihad.  They filled our hearts with hatred of
Israel.  When you portray a people as pigs and monkeys, as monsters, it is honorable to kill that monster.    It is time for us to start the road to progress and freedom by working with
Israel.   

When Gaza and the ‘West Bank’ were in
Israel’s hands, the Muslims didn’t care about anything but killing Jews.  Those who wanted a job had to join Hamas or Fatah.  If they wanted peace with
Israel, they were shot in the middle of the town square.  “Why doesn’t Western media pressure the Arabs and the palestineans for concessions?”  “When are you going to ask them when they will stop the flow of money and arms to the Muslims?”  Allah Akba means, “our G-d is greater than everyone else’s, not G-d is great as the media repeats and repeats, completely distorting the truth.”   

“My personal journey was lived in the Middle East, in Egypt and in Gaza, during the wars between Egypt and
Israel.  Still, Israel thrived, which proves the spirit of
Israel and the Jewish people.  What I saw, as an Arab Muslim growing up is coming to us.  It is creeping to us.  “Why don’t people expose the hypocritical Iman’s who are denying the truth?”  Don’t mistake me, I love my culture.  Teaching Islam in the spirit of tolerance, can only come from us.  Muslims have to speak out.   

Kids on college campuses are protecting not a religion, but an ideology.  “What has happened to children’s rights, to women’s rights, I want to cry.”  This is the country that saved my life. But, Western cultures including
Israel, are beginning to be scared. The church is scared.  In
Bethlehem a big picture of Arafat hangs in the Church of the Nativity vestry.  All seem tired and demoralized.  

Terrorism succeeds in making people hate one another. The same classic story is unfolding worldwide.  In France, soon the Muslim minority will begin a separatist movement and seek a separatist state within
France.  In Canada and communities all over Europe and recently in a small town in
Michigan, efforts have been made to have Muslim councils enforcing Sha’aria Law.  Over a thousand years ago, Egypt, my
Egypt, was the greatest nation in the world, it was the dominant military and intellectual power, Egyptians read, wrote and spoke Egyptian.  Today Egyptians have no military power, intellectuals are suppressed, jailed – Egyptians read and write and speak Arabic.  Egyptian supremacy ended when they became scared, when they tired and when they became demoralized.    

What was and what must be. Oil was the big factor in the rise of the Arab world.  Their oil wealth was discovered at almost the same time as the date of the proclamation of the State of Israel.  Today, the Arab world is in a big turmoil. Civil wars have already begun, wars are simmering between many countries.  There is great danger for
Israel. 
Israel must protect itself.  Israel will survive only if Jews Unite / Strengthen their Defenses / end
Iran’s nuclear threat / Peace Treaties are traps to be avoided.  To a man, everyone in the audience rose, it burst into applause and surged forward to thank, to congratulate, to question Nonie Darwish.

After Turmoil in Holland, Critic of Islam Finds Home in U.S. at Conservative Think Tank

Ayaan Hirsi Ali like her former Muslim ’sisters’ Nonie Darwish and Wafa Sultan are courageous women. They have a common thread. They have come to the decision-not easily taken-that Islam threatens their human rights. Without the merest scintilla of reformist reflection by the male dominated belief system, they had no choice given the assaults on their persons, but to leave. They refused to be subject to oppressive Islamic Sharia laws and like dhimmis to be treated under what passes for fourth class religious “Jim Crowism.’ And worse: Muslim women can be subject to arranged child marriages and even worse barabarous gang rapes and honor killings. There are tens of millions of Muslim women in the West who are seeking relief from this form of religious oppression. In Canada, many of them have been in the forefront of opposing adoption of Sharia law in the provinces, and they have succeeded. Ms. Hirsi Ali new book “The Infidel: The Story of My Enlightenment” and current tour will doubtless bring much needed attention to this important issue-one that feminists should support. Brava to Ms. Hirsi-Ali for being brave enough to admit that she’s an apostate. This AP background story is a testament to her ’steel’ and resolve to discuss her valued positions in public. Clearly, she has upset Muslim advocacy groups like CAIR fror good reason. She tells the truth.

WASHINGTON — As a child, Ayaan Hirsi Ali fled violence in Somalia with her family. As an adult she fled Kenya to escape an arranged marriage. She left her adopted Holland after she was caught up in political turmoil and had her life threatened.

Now Hirsi Ali ,a brave critic of Islam to her supporters, a bigot to her critics, has found refuge in the intellectual bastion of leading U.S. conservatives.

Hirsi Ali joined the American Enterprise Institute last September, after a sometimes stormy 14 years in the Netherlands, where she was a member of parliament and became a central figure in two events that jolted the nation.

First, after she wrote a script for a film that depicted naked women with Quranic verses scrawled on their bodies, a Dutch-born Muslim gunned down the filmmaker, Theo van Gogh. A letter threatening Hirsi Ali was left on a knife plunged into van Gogh’s chest.

Next, a fight within Hirsi Ali’s political party over her Dutch citizenship brought down the government.

These days, Hirsi Ali is promoting her autobiography, “Infidel.” It gives a graphic account of how she rejected her faith and the violence she says was inflicted on her in the name of Islam.

I’m an apostate. That’s why the book is called ‘Infidel,’” she said in a telephone interview from New York

The Council on American-Islamic Relations thinks Hirsi Ali’s campaign amounts to slander and bigotry.

“We believe that she will bring an increase to the level of anti-Muslim bias in this country that we saw her bring to the situation in Europe,” the council’s communications director, Ibrahim Hooper, said in an interview Saturday. “Unfortunately her message is one of bigotry, not one of mutual understanding.”

THERE IS ONLY A MILITARY SOLUTION

Oliver Kamm, who embraces the thinking of Shlomo Avineri and Michael Walzer disparaged Israpundit by writing,

The views of these people on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are of course, in their rejection of a two-state territorial settlement, far removed from those of Israeli voters and the Israeli government. I find their tone and content contemptible (”THERE IS ONLY A MILITARY SOLUTION,” screams the IsraPundit website on its masthead).

This from a man who advocated the bombing of Serbia.

The only reason IsraPundit screams it, as he puts it, is to overcome the oft repeated mantra of the left that there is no military solution.

But for some reason Kamm didn’t follow his own advice and insist that there was no military solution to the conflict in Yugoslavia. Evidently the “genocide” and ethnic cleansing allegedly being done by Milosevic warranted a military response but the terrorism and ethnic cleansing being done by Fatah and Hamas didn’t or doesn’t. Or perhaps he thought that a peaceful solution was not available in Yugoslavia whereas such a solution was available in Israel-Arab conflict.

Perhaps he thought that Milosevic was intransigent though some argue the record says otherwise. But who would argue that Abbas or Haniyeh are not intransigent. After all, the Charters of Fatah and Hamas call for the destruction of Israel, their words call for “resistance” which is a euphemism for terrorism, their incitement from kindergarten to the grave encourages the demonization of Israel and Jews and preaches war and martyrdom and their acts, kill.

A terrorist by any other name, such as “moderate”, is still a terrorist.

A military option should never be taken off the table neither with respect to attempts to stop Iran from getting the Bomb, nor with respect to dealing with the “Palestinians”. If you remove this option you automatically strengthen the bargaining position of either Iran or the “Palestinians” as the case may be. On the other hand if Israel were to totally destroy the arsenals of Fatah and Hamas and kill or expel all terrorists and then end the incitement, Israel’s bargaining position would be immensely strengthened.

The Palestinians insist on continuing the incitement and the “resistance” in order to put pressure on Israel to be make more concessions. By allowing them to do so, Israel gives them the upper hand. The Palestinians certainly believe there is only a military solution and so the “resistance” continues, no matter that they are committed to end it by the Oslo Accords and the Roadmap.

Yet Kamm calls our “tone and content contemptible”. We didn’t call for the bombing of Serbia.

Nor did we enable Islam’s Main Achievement in the 20th Century according to Dr Saul Shay in his book, Islamic Terror and the Balkans,

In the eyes of the radical Islamic circles, the establishment of an independent Islamic territory including Bosnia, Kosovo and Albania along the Adriatic Coast, is one of the most prominent achievements of Islam since the siege of Vienna in 1683. Islamic penetration into Europe through the Balkans is one of the main achievements of Islam in the twentieth century.

Nothing good came out of the bombing of Serbia and nothing good came out of the Oslo Accords, both of which he supported and still supports. How long will it take him to acknowledge the error of his ways.

In my view Israel should first destroy the “resistance” and then negotiate.

Deadliest Bomb in Iraq Is Made by Iran, U.S. Says

WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 — The most lethal weapon directed against American troops in Iraq is an explosive-packed cylinder that United States intelligence asserts is being supplied by Iran.The assertion of an Iranian role in supplying the device to Shiite militias reflects broad agreement among American intelligence agencies, although officials acknowledge that the picture is not entirely complete.

In interviews, civilian and military officials from a broad range of government agencies provided specific details to support what until now has been a more generally worded claim, in a new National Intelligence Estimate, that Iran is providing “lethal support” to Shiite militants in Iraq.

The focus of American concern is known as an “explosively formed penetrator,” a particularly deadly type of roadside bomb being used by Shiite groups in attacks on American troops in Iraq. Attacks using the device have doubled in the past year, and have prompted increasing concern among military officers. In the last three months of 2006, attacks using the weapons accounted for a significant portion of Americans killed and wounded in Iraq, though less than a quarter of the total, military officials say.

Because the weapon can be fired from roadsides and is favored by Shiite militias, it has become a serious threat in Baghdad. Only a small fraction of the roadside bombs used in Iraq are explosively formed penetrators. But the device produces more casualties per attack than other types of roadside bombs.

Al Qaeda may target France ahead of elections

It seems to have gotten them what they wanted in Spain. An update on jihadist threats to France, from al-Qaeda and other groups. “France targeted by al-Qaeda,” by Roee Nahmias for YNet News:

A French intelligence report says that France is being targeted by al-Qaeda, the London-based Arabic-language newspaper al-Hayat reported Friday.

The report warned decision makers of a series of scenarios, including a terror attack which will take place ahead of the presidential elections in a bid to influence their results.

The report was recently submitted to the French authorities and was titled ‘Situation report on the radical Islamic terror threat in France.’ The report was composed by various intelligence and security organizations in the country for three months.

The writers of report fear a terror attack similar to the one which took place in Madrid in March 2004. In order to illustrate the concrete threat, the newspaper published for the first time a letter handwritten and signed by Osama bin Laden, which instructed a radical Islamic organization in Algeria to “attack in eastern and southern France.”

According to the report, al-Qaeda affiliated websites contain “threatening messages by the organization, which include pictures from the French presidential campaign.”

The report added that “what contributes to the severity of the threats is that senior al-Qaeda members need to prove that they can still exert their influence in Europe and not only in the traditional jihad countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan.”

The report detailed four “threat centers” from which the activists would emerge. The first is “the Iraqi networks”: Hundreds of Muslims with a European citizenship who volunteered to fight in Iraq against the US army and returned last summer to Europe. Since their return, they have been working on building secret cells or preparing terror attacks.

Intelligence information received by France points to the fact that one of the close assistants of Jordanian terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, confessed during an interrogation by the Iraqi intelligence that about 30 radical Islamic Moroccans carrying a European passport have secretly infiltrated France and several French-speaking countries in Africa in a bid to prepare terror attacks.

It appears that this information has been taken seriously by France, as several suspects have already been arrested in Canada.

Immediate threat: An Algerian group

The second source of threat mentioned by the report was “the Afghan-Pakistan networks.” Contrary to the prevailing belief that these networks completely disintegrated after September 11, 2001 and the war in Afghanistan, these organizations’ training camps have reappeared near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

The report warned that volunteers carrying a European passport were recently seen in two camps, one in Pakistan run by Taliban members and the other in Afghanistan run by one of bin Laden’s former bodyguards.

The report stated that the counterterrorism organizations in France have been increasingly concerned by these networks, particularly after activists who left the camps were recently exposed in terror cells uncovered in Britain, Belgium, France and Morocco.

These terrorists were carrying the ‘Guide for Jihad’ written by al-Qaeda member Abu Musab al-Suri, in which he preaches to attack France as it is “A legitimate target for jihad.”

Intelligence information received by France reveals that for the first time, women were among the terrorists who left the camps and settled in Europe in order to prepare terror attacks.

A third source of concern for the French intelligence is “the Caucasian terror networks.” According to the information, these networks are supervised by the al-Qaeda representative in Central Asia and include graduates of secret training camps in different places in Asia, including Kashmir, China, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Chechnya.

According to the report, graduates of the Kashmir camp with a British and Dutch citizenship were recently arrested. Another cell was uncovered in France.

A fourth source of concern for France, and perhaps the most severe, is the organizations in North Africa, mainly those affiliated with a radical Islamic organization in Algeria. The leader of this organization has threatened France several times in the past two years.

The same organization was recently blessed by bin Laden’s deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri, as the group which will lead the jihad in Europe and North Africa. The organization changed its name and officially became part of al-Qaeda after receiving bin Laden’s blessing.

This group was formerly known as the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat, or GSPC.

This organization was the one which received the letter from bin Laden ordering an attack on France.

“The Algerian organization now constitutes the greatest source of threat on France and on all of Europe. Due to its organizational ability and its long-terms relations with al-Qaeda and especially with Osama bin Laden in person, the organizations has turned into al-Qaeda’s key representative in Europe,” the report warned.

DNC’s imam goes wild

Hannity keeps trying to ask him two questions: Is Hizballah a terrorist group? and Is Ahmadinejad an antisemite? Note Al-Husainy’s reaction: not only does he squirm and dance, but he starts accusing Hannity of hating him, hating peace, hating God. This is an extraordinarily common reaction, and is akin to the predictable response that always follows any discussion of the elements of Islam that give rise to violence, supremacism, fanaticism: instead of dealing with those elements of Islam and working to formulate some positive way to mitigate their destructive force, Islamic apologists routinely shift the focus to the one raising the questions, accusing him of hatemongering, bigotry, racism, “Islamophobia.” And there is always the accusation that the questioner is worse than, or equivalent to, the terrorists.

This is a very effective tactic, which is why they keep doing it. It makes naive and uninformed people turn away from the alleged bigot without considering what he is saying, and it deflects attention away from the Islamic roots of jihadist violence, so as to allow the jihadists to continue their work without harsh scrutiny.

Here are some of the things Al-Husainy says to Hannity — all in response to one or both of those questions:

You paid to talk like this.God my witness, you are breaking the law and you are accusing me…Because you are breaking the peace of this world, you wanted to create animosity between the religions, Christian and Muslim and Jewish…

(Do you support Ahmadinejad?) I won’t answer you unless you just withdraw the question…

See? See now? See, “ducking the question” — this is an insult. See? …You are Christian, let’s follow Jesus’ rule. If you are a Jewish, let’s follow Moses’ rule. Please just follow God’s rule, not insult each other.

People like you, my friend, you are playing with fire.

Honest to God, you need to bring the peace to this world, you need to bring God to this world, you are out of the spiritual circle. You are justifying politics and the world is really burning. Let’s cool it down. Let’s go back to the law of Abraham and Muhammad and Jesus and Moses…But don’t insult, please. Don’t insult nobody.

You belong to a minority of people burning the world. You just have to come back to God. Go read the Bible. Go read the Torah. And let’s talk, is that the language, is that the behavior of Jesus and Moses? You are really away of your faith. So let’s go back to the moral value of the Bible. And let’s see: does the Bible teach [unintelligible] each other like that? We are Muslim, a billion and a half just like the Christians. Is that the way we aggravate each other, trouble each other? You are really making God mad at you, making Jesus mad at you, making Moses mad at you…

Give me time, I will answer it. But let’s respect each other. The trouble is, you are humiliating me and God is against that. Jesus against that…

You are. You are against prophet Muhammad. You are against the faith of Muslims. You are against Qur’an. And God is my witness. And God’s gonna get mad at you. Jesus gonna get mad at you. You are working against the unity of the world. And the unity of Muslims, and Jewish, and Christians. You are working against America. You are disturbing the peace between East and West. You are really, you are the anti-peace person.

And then the Imam hung up on Hannity.
